Heh, a new nickname! :) When I lived in the Philippines, my cousins called me "Che-Che" (pronounced cheh-cheh, not chi-chi).
Anyway, sounds great, I hope you have a safe trip! The 'rents and my brother and sister-in-law will be arriving on Wednesday night; I hope they're not delayed by weather issues.
It's bloody cold out and I'm not enthused about being at work, but at least we have running water here. smirk (The plumber is scheduled to arrive between 3 and 4 today; I hope he/she's there right now fixing the pipes!)
I know how Che-Che is pronounced. I am Mexican! ;) hehe I hope they fly in safely!! I am sure they will. I just hope this weather doesn't get any worse. I don't want my flight to DC to be delayed on new years eve. Sucks about your pipe. Let's hope the plumber can fix it and you'll be set. woo!
@Chibbi: I figured you would, but I was putting the pronunciation key out there for non-Filipino or non-Mexican speakers. :D
@Bishop: My Monday's going by fast which isn't too good in this case since I'm trying to get a fix in to the build tonight. I hope I can finish it up before leaving so I don't have to log back in to work from home after dinner.
@gwapz: Yeah, sometimes the nicknames my cousins had were puzzling that way. :) I have a cousin Leah, but I don't think she was ever called "Neneng"... What was your ex's last name, by chance (if you don't mind saying)?
Hope ya manage that ok cheryl! The only excitement here today has been a couple of people who needed me to open all the server racks so they could do inventory with their bar code scanner. Whee!

you see eric. I see the Spanish influence all over the Phillipines. although naming a province after cheese is kinda funny.

@ElJovenSavio lolz The name of the province is actually the last name of a former and 2nd President Manuel L Quezon.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quezon

So they named a President after cheese??

@Bishop lolz.. I thought a cheese is "Queso" The former President's last name was Quezon not Queso.. lolz
