Take lots of pics for those of us too poor to travel

Hmm, this is a better place to ask than FF, actually... so, what's a BBP bag? :)

@edy: I always take lots of pics. The issue is getting around to editing them and posting. sheepish grin Sites like Autoblog and Edmunds always seem to have a plethora of pictures, so you can get your fix that way. :)

@steves71: Thanks! I'm actually going to try taking the majority of the auto show pics with my LX3, and then also take film camera pictures with an SLR and/or other film cameras I take (Polaroid, Nikon 35Ti, or Vivitar UWS). Might also shoot some HD video with the LX3, or the Kodak Zi6 I got for Christmas... There will be a lot of camera juggling going on, I think. :)

    From bbpbags.com:

"BBP stands for 'bum back pack'. Our award winning hybrid backpack messenger bags are good for folks with "bum backs" (i.e. bad backs) and our bags are super ergonomic backpaks that hang low near your "bum". For 2008, we put our minds to work again to develop more innovative products such as the ventilated Breathe Sleeve, the value priced Hybrid Hauler, and the minimalist Expand-It Messenger."

I've been more partial to messenger bags recently, even for camera gear, but wearing the bag across my torso isn't always comfortable or anything, so I decided to try this messenger-style bag that has convertible backpack straps. I'm hoping it'll work out for carrying all my junk during the auto show. I'm going to bring my 13" Macbook and my camera gear, so it's likely going to kill my back to walk around with all that stuff. I'm just hoping the BBP bag will be gentler at killing my back than my other bags. :)

I'll have to test fit all of the gear I'm bringing to see what I can fit and what I'll have to leave behind. In the past my camera bags have had only just enough room to carry the gear and barely anything personal, like my wallet, or maybe some snack foods to sneak into the hall or whatever. This bag is not super huge, and it might not fit all of the gear I want to take, but its outside pockets and general layout makes me a little more hopeful that I'll be able to carry a decent amount of stuff without having to shove everything together within centimeters of each other.
